I would have to say that this is the most ambitious and longest-running project that I have been working on for quite a while. Started more than five years ago, it is my goal to trace the genealogy of the Canonigo family. Although I initially focused on the immediate family history, it has soon expanded to include other families as well, not only from the Philippines but in other countries. The family tree is currently hosted on Tribalpages.com but I have envisioned a plan to have it hosted and develop a website under the Webtrees platform for the family tree and Wordpress for the main content and blog.
Tumblr was used to provide regular updates on the ongoing genealogical research while Yuku was used to host its own forum site for people who may want to share more information. A full social media treatment was applied with accounts for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
If you notice there is a QR code, this is scannable and it will open up a micro landing page where you can follow its social media accounts.
For those interested in knowing their family history or want to know if we are related, please fill-up the form below. The family tree is approaching 60,000 entries!
